And I'm not referring to a general tendency to favor certain tactics for their ease. I'm not even referring to the tendency for members of each faction to seemingly gravitate to a single continent for easy base captures. Imagine a continent has 47% of one faction, 24% of another faction, and 29% of the other faction. What's the smartest thing for the two lower population factions to do to maximize enjoyment while still maintaining and expanding their territory? That's right, Timmy; they mostly ignore each other and each take on the more populous faction. What actually happens? The two lower population factions get into a slap fight with each while the more populous faction steals territory from both of them, essentially unopposed. This behavior absolutely confounds me. /rant
