   When I lock an objective to the side of my screen, why does it dissapear after I close the game and reopen it? Is this intended? Is this a bug?

   Could be a bug. It happened to me for a while, then stopped.

   Check if "UserOptions.ini" is set to "read only".

   Mine was working fine and started doing this recently also.
   
   Also, if you have any of the tutorial directives still active they will reset themselves to be your tracked objectives every time u log in.
