NEW CAPTURE MODES PLEASE!!!!

    We've hap the same thing for 3 years XD

    I suggest that we implement these methods of capture:
    -Capture the Flag
    -King of the Hill (which already exists when there is only the A-capture point)
    -Team Deathmatch (depending on size of enemy+ally activity there will be a certain amount of enemies to kill to capture the base)
    -VIP (Wait one minute and the person who gets the most kills becomes the VIP so when killed, the killer gets the extra menace bonus plus a VIP killer bonus)
    -Sticks and Stones (Secondaries and knives) people may not like this but its new so give it a chance
    -Gun Game (we get new weapons every time we kill enemies) since no gun in a class's arsenal is really more op than the other because of role, our weapons should start with the default then move across the arsenal left-right including NS weapons, excluding NSB and NSG.


    Anyways in terms of implementation, these modes should be spread out across each base throughout the lattice system. Then we can truly say that no battle in planetside is like the last.

    wat do you mean why? Its evolution. Making the game less repetitive and more uniquer as well as fun

    All capture points are king of the hill areas. You don't just need one <A> point.
    It's already a team deathmatch. The side doing more killing generally has an easier time holding the point.
    These aren't, and should not be confused with, capture modes at all.

    I don't like the options given in the OP. They're too generic, and several aren't even capture modes.
    Heres an idea:

    We have to build/transport something from warpgate to the major facilities in order to capture them, if the OOI(Object of interest) is destroyed or captured, you have to build a new one and transport it again. Think of it as replacing the tech plant's CPU if you need some abstraction.

    With that we'd be filling several gameplay niches most notably Escort and Logistics. With this there would actually be a useful reason to form up an armor column or air squadron at the warpgate and drive out rather than redeploy then grab a vehicle from the frontlines.

    I like the aircraft/vehicle capture points idea a lot. It would give some desperately needed direction to the vehicle game.

    I don't know why, but in my head, I pictured DBG wrestling with some abomination to get new alert types out of it.

    Most of your proposed "capture modes" aren't possible, because Planetside 2 is a continious battlefield.

    But it would be possible to introduce intel files, which have to be transported to the nearest friendly base to capture the enemy base. There were actually different capture methods in Planetside.

    guys please understand, the one that aren't actual captures, i meant for them to increase the timer to cap for normal bases, i just forgot to mention those and sounded like an idiot

    Every kill you get gives like five seconds to the timer, so the enemy would have to kill more than you to balance the timer. It would be like a tug of war. This would be different than the king of the hill-hold the point capture system we have now

    That's unique and if we do have team deathmatch,it make zerg useless because 3 defenders could win against 30 attackers.

    This new "evolutionary" system is aimed towards solo players only, leaving teamplay a secondary, useless thing to mess with. I don't like this direction...

    You do that in CoD and Battlefield, where there is no teamwork anyway. And make up something new that is more suitable for this game.

    Hearthstone Added a weekly Free, changing rules Format called Brawl (only available Wed-Sun). I would love to see PS2 try out some limited release format variations, maybe for 1-2 days a week during slow weekdays, on 1 of the 2 Continents or on a portion of a Continent.
