I've been thinking of getting the GD-F7 for my LA since I've heard good things about it. However only the Gauss Compact S have the option for underbarrel launchers. Are underbarrel launchers worth it? Losing forward grip seems like a bad thing, but is the utility of a launcher better? I have not found a way to try out weapon attachments and didn't try them out in beta. Overall the attachment options for Compact S look appealing since it has access to almost all of them. I will probably run with Bandolier/C4 in addition to my Carbine. Swapping in medkit in some occasions and Sweeper when appropriate.
i was wondering about the compact S also. i do know that the underslung was a great option for when you needed to reload and finished people off quickly.
Some people like them. I dont think they are worth it unless you want the smoke for coordinated squad movement. The grenade launcher does NOT shoot grenades. What it shoots is more like a long range shotgun. The explosion is just eye candy. The thrown grenades on the other hand are AOE.
