Before the patch, how many FPS were you averaging while playing the game? Have you recently had any updates to any background processes you are running such as anti-virus or firewall software? Same here. I usually get between 35 and 110 FPS on the highest game settings, but occasionally, for no apparent reason, the rate drops to 1-2 FPS with the game crashing shortly after with Windows giving me a "Planetside 2 has stopped working" error. My System is a Windows 7 64bit, i7-3770k@4,6 ghz, GTX 680, 16 gigs DDR3 @ 2400mhz, 240gb SSD at about half capacity.
