Unless you're able to complete the mission without triggering the bug (could be dying, could be your tank being destroyed, could be swapping continent) then the mission will no longer give you progress toward it, nor will it reset your progress as if you had to do it in one tank life. If you restart your game while this bug is in effect, the battlefield superiority mission will no longer have an objective, seemingly constantly stuck on 2/3 steps complete, with no way of removing it except letting the timer expire.
