In short what happens in some point in the game the audio with freeze for about 2 seconds and resume, after this my mic is disconnected and unusable. I have to then turn off and turn off the mic in the voice options to get it to work which doesnt always. This literally started a few days ago and nothing has changed on my system.
Test out another mic. Sounds like a bad connector maybe. If your disconnect/reconnect a mic in game, you may have to reset audio/voice options to get it recognized. Changing speaker/mic connections may also cause your game to freeze/crash.
Nope not at all, its only with planetside. Hell i do a podcast and this is my podcast mic, not that old and bearly moves and i just did a recording earlier and its no problem. I use Teamspeak and no issue exists, NOW the second i turn on planetside some hell start brewing.
