Been using Mattocks for low-med range, I often run it for room cleaning and CQC defending as well. But, I'm still having a rough time deciding to go with slug or not.... Would love some advice!! Thank you
if you're dead set on using mattocks then i'd fully recommend the slugs (and extended mags ofcourse) though you're still praying to RNGsus, the slugs do give you a good bit of range, its very situational though since you need to be motionless and crouching to use them effectively at any reasonable distance (so you have to be sure you're somewhere safe from C4 fairies)
On my NC Max I run a Grinder with Extended Mags and a Mattook with slugs(still need the extended Mag). The Grinder chews up anything at close range, and the Mattock with slugs gives some good ranged damage. The only thing you can do is try different combos and see how they preform, like dual Mattocks with slugs or dual without slugs or maybe dual with only one carrying slugs.
I do dual slugs 90% of the time and the rest doesnt Slugs are better overall because its good in all situation... Just dont fight another MAX alone and unprotected
