Typically I have 40-60 fps pending the fight. However, when I open say, the gui for changing loadouts, my fps always drops like crazy. I.e. it would drop from 60 to 25. Whenever I close the gui, the game will speed back up to 60 fps (although over the course of a couple of seconds, causing an annoying stutter after using a terminal). The FPS counter claims Im CPU bound. This only happens if smoothing is turned on. Any thoughts? i7 3770k @ 4.5ghz 32mb 1866mhz ram 2x Titan GTX - I've tried turning SLI off and it still happens. PS2 on a SSD.
