Keybindings Reset on each login

    Hi All,

    I have a slightly weird problem, in that I cannot seem to save any new keybinds and they reset to an old non-standard configuration everytime I log in.

    This may have been caused by the fact I run two versions of the client (one SOE, one Pro7) and test. However when I installed the other clients, I did each one through the proper installer. I have tried:
    • uninstalling and reinstalling the clients
    • modifying the InputProfile_User.xml file
    • deleting the InputProfile_User.xml file
    • searching for other copies of the InputProfile_User.xml file
    • swearing a lot
    But every time I log in the InputProfile_User.xml file gets over written by this strange old configuration. Grrr!

    I am running Windows 7.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    do you run the game as admin. Not your "Windows Account" is admin - rightklick on your PS2.exe and compatiblity and "run as admin" so the game can modify datas on your harddrive. And you need to have writeacces to the directory where your InputProfile_User.xml lays on your harddrive.
