Not sure if anyone posted this but if you need to jump off something reasonably high, turn on your shield. It'll usually mitigate any damage you would take. Sometimes I get lazy and don't want to go through all the stairs, especially on those vertical bases.
Press L to turn off the laser sight's red line to not give yourself away. I believe it also does the flashlights, but I haven't bought one of those since beta. Lots of weapons can go to single shot mode from full auto if you hit the select fire key, even if not specifically stated. MAX weapons have trouble hitting targets at very close range, but MAX melee attacks are brutal and swing wide. If someone tries to exploit the MAX's minimum range just swing for the fences and splat them with melee.
I read that there's a bug with the Lasers. It only turns it off for you but the enemy still see it. Good tips as well though.
