I don't know what it is but my game will not launch. I have never been able to launch a Sony online entertainment game. It is a little frustrating to say the least. I have uninstalled and re installed countless times. Nothing works, my issue is that on the launchpad when the game installs the words at the bottom will say 1,300 MB of 1,300 MB (100.0%) but the bar above it is not fulling loaded and the play button says installing. I also can't fully install the sony game plugin through my browser and I have tried them all. Sometimes there is no update required but I click play and it just says playing but nothing loads up. Please Help me.
There are a few different issues which may be causing this problem for you, so you may need to try a few things to get into the game: 1. Please ensure that you have added an exception within your Firewall or Anti-Virus software for planetside2.exe, launchpad.exe, awesomiumprocess.exe, and ApplicationUpdaterService.exe. You may need to clear the cache settings for the launch pad by going to the launchpad.libs folder in your PlanetSide 2 directory and delete the launchpad.cache folder then try accessing the game once again. 3. The launcher may have been corrupted and will need to be repaired before it will work correctly.
