Is the game updating right now?

    Whenever I try to get on to the game, in the launcher I get the following error:
    " There was a problem getting a list of files for download. An update may be in progress. Please try again in 20-30 minutes."
    However, I've seen nothing on the forums recently about updates, and I did take a 30 minute break in between checking the launcher, and recieved the same issue. I doubt this issue is tied to my account (although it may be tied to my computer.)

    Can I get some help?

    Try validating game assets in the launcher.

    Reinstall if that doesn't help.

    are those really the only options? Validation doesn't work, as I recieve the same error, and reinstallation would take several hours.

    Yes I think you might have to reinstall the game.
