Wondering if this is a bug, or whether I'm just missing something, but probably >60% of the time I hack a base defense turret (of any type, it happens the same with all three), I get no XP for it. It's not because someone else already hacked that turret because it still does the hacking progress wheel thing. Anyone else see this?
i havent personally. might be a ui bug. try looking at your actual XP bar before and after hacking them, see if it changes. if it does it's just UI. report it in the in game interface (lower left corner of map, report bug)
I've had this happen, seemingly random. Hack 3 turrets, get xp. 4th, no xp. Theoretically you could hack all turrets of an empty base relatively quick for xp plus a minor amount of certs.. dunno, might stop granting xp to stop bots/hacks/whatever.
I can confirm you get no XP, it's not just a UI problem. I've reported it as a bug. Also it happens on weapon/vehicle terminals sometimes too. If there's some sort of limitation on hacking XP, I'd like staff to make this clear so people don't keep reporting it.
