infiltrator cohesion and roleplay

    One thing the game could use more of is promoting teamwork and strategic gameplay so there should be more "cohesion" or synergy between the different classes.

    for example, the infiltrator is the recon unit but is practically worthless against vehicles and MAXes. as the recon unit infiltrators should be able to provide some sort of role against vehicles, like how SOFLAM works in bf3.... maybe we can have the motion detector also work like SOFLAM and basically enemy vehicles within the motion spotters radius are automatically locked-on to from lock-on launchers, and also directs all MANA AV turret projectiles and other laser guided projectiles like Hornets, phoenix, MAX AV weapon (the laser guided NC one, TR fractures and one of the VS ones) in the radius towards the vehicle as well.

    make the infiltrator's "q-spot" silent to promote them as the spotter for the other classes, and increase the range for friendlies that can pick up your spotted enemy on their map.. or instead of making it silent make the infiltrators spot audio non-directional when heard by an enemy so they cannot use it to try to locate your position.

    make the infiltrator unable to take base points by proximity like MAXes. instead allow infiltrators to hack points like terminals, so that they can immediately flip points without alerting enemies, but they have to risk being vulnerable while doing so. this way stalkers need to show themselves to flip points but at the same time can flip points without alerting enemies while doing so.

    allow infiltrators to hack shield generators once they are already overloaded and counting down.... but the hacking can only be done during the last 20 seconds of the overload timer (or during the critical phase) and give it a cumulative meter where the gen should have been hacked by an infil for a total of 10 seconds or something so that instead of exploding the gen would instead change ownership. (by cumulative I meant make it so if the infil dies while hacking, another infil can resume the hacking from where he left off but only during the critical period of the gen)

    imagine flipping either the horizontal or vertical gen instead of destroying it and effectively making the shields a wall for everyone. then defenders can either do the same thing and overload and rehack, or they can just choose to overload and repair but a flipped gen would really throw a wrench in the works

    imagine flipping the SCU shield gen instead of destroying it. effectively forcing the enemy to either overload or hack the SCU shield gen before they can even get inside to repair the SCU.
