some people talk about giving just a minor buff to just adsing while aiming down sights from
.6 to .9 movement speed with some TR weapons such as the TORQ, SABR, MSWR, T9(all variants), Cycler, Jaguar, AMC movement speed while ADS'd to make some of the rifles which cant keep up with the damage or versatility of other factions weapons to be viable.
They may be good situationally but can even be outclassed just by damage profile (167 CQB can delete people, its why the AF-4A Bandit is so good)
TR is that our midrange is very weak with very poor options outside of the MG-HBR1 dragoon and NS weapon's and that even in CQB, we can get outclassed by other factions so instead of buffing fire rates or damage, make the TR the dakka and mobility faction.
make sure they excel in CQB. that an MSWR in 10m would GUARANTEED have a leg up over an LA1 Anchor in the range it was made for.
With weapons like the Torq and Cycler, they just feel clunky in CQB with the slower movement speed and hell while using the NS11, it felt much better in close range than some of the TR option.
Carbines, well tr carbines are a wet paper bag and the AMC is beyond saving, the mobility would make it semi usable to fight against over buffed wepons from pre 2020.
I feel like the TR's biggest strength comes from mass dakka which - in theory - allows a squad to suppress while flanking. Flanking is the missing piece hard to do when the guns feel clunky and slow in CQC. yes even when we flank we get out guned from head on conflicts 1v1.
even with this change proposed for tr compaired to the vs/nc couterparts the the bloom is pretty large ,when hip firing for tr wepons .
from a combined effort of people from 10+years fighting over the control of Auraxis from connery tr

This sounds a lot like TR victim complex here. TR has the kindred, a 167 high ROF so long as you do the thing you should be doing normaly, burst firing. The TR carbine lineup, by and large, is pretty good.

The AMC is a lazerbeam with good recoil control without sacrificing substancial hipfire accuracy, making it versitile in most setups.

Midrange: yes, dragoon, but we also have the Scouts that do that job pretty well. Scouts are carbon copy (for the most part) between factions, so you wont be "outclassed" by faction flavor with them. As for midrange LMGs, TMG-50 and Rhino are solid options.

Torq and Cycler: both are pretty good ARs and the T1 cycler is one of the best ARs in the game.

get your thoughts in order and take a break. TR do have their weak points, but the faction weapons as a whole are not bad and we have a fair few that are downright amazing.

You bring up the Kindred, the one gun the TR have that is at least somewhat comparable to any 167 gun in the NC meta, except it has less mid range accuracy, less ammo pool etc. What OP is saying that the TR have a disadvantage in the midrange and you can't deny that TR CQC is the worst out of the three factions. It's not a matter that you put in the hours and got some of our guns to work for you, congratulations on that. But a person with 1000+ hours on the beamer could do well too I imagine.

You bring up the AMC which thankfully does have a .75x ADS multiplier. It needs this because once again it has the worst tttk of the other weapons in its family line of carbines. As far as other carbines it might be better than the CB-200 but that's not saying much.

Let's talk CQC. The tier of weapons that Daybreak has assigned for this are the Lynx, the GD-7F and the Serpent. Sure, the Lynx is a bullet hose but it does this at a much higher reload speed and lower damage per mag than all three other factions meaning the flexibility in engaging multiple targets is terrible.

For SMGs, the Blitz beats anything the TR have and its not even their best SMG.

As far as battle rifles go, the Obelisk dominates this niche and is often considered one of Vanu's best guns. Like the other second gen BRs The Dragoon is great though for ten more rounds it has a higher bloom than the Bishop as well as having a much higher recoil. So, again TR lose in this category.

For a final comparison, lets take the three faction's default ARs: Cycler, Gauss and Pulsar. NC have the best damage at all ranges with TR and VS having the comparable damage tiers. While the vertical recoil of the Gauss is highest at .3, Cycler is similar at .27 and Pulsar has least recoil at .22, the gauss makes up for this having the best horizontal recoil at .17 and the Cycler the worst at .225. I would argue that horizonal recoil is the most difficult to compensate for at anything greater than short range.

So to reiterate OP's point, if TR's gimmic is lots of dakka than let them take advantage of extra rounds through mobility by giving a slight buff to the ADS
