I'm not sure why this was nerfed in the first place. I'd really like to use my Hailstorm, but I end up using the Saron instead because the small DPS gain doesn't make up for having half the ammo pool. Was this someone's idea of balance? "The weapon is too powerful, so let's make it really annoying to use." The sad thing is, the only one that could be called too powerful is the Vortek rotary, and that is only in a certain situation(ganking). It seems like most dedicated ESF pilots just use the default noseguns on the mossie and scythe, and I'd wager a guess that the small ammo pool on the A2A noseguns is big part of the reason behind that.
