I want to just roll with iron sights, it's what I'm best at in BF3 - I just can't snap to headshots when I'm stuck zooming at x8. I can't figure out how do to this, but there must be a way to take your scope off right?
I think you can do it in your loadout screen (either when you select it in the sunderer, or map screen (M) > the gun icon). Click the little tab on the right side with a buncha weapons, click on your sniper rifle, and you should be able to mess with it. I think you should be able to switch to different scope (like other classes, which start with no scope by default) so removing it should also be an option there too.
Hes using a stock sniper rifle it has no iron sights he would have to spend some certs or sc and get the low optic variant witch comes with iron sights.
