After this patch, at times when in a vehicle deploy or construction spawn menu, the frame rate will drop to 13 fps, then the monitor goes off, and OSD indicates no signal. The computer is still running but unable to bring back video signal and a hard power down is needed. Once restarted, PlanetSide will work fine, even in those menus until it triggers the issue again. If I only play infantry it doesn't occur.
I have the same issue except my computer auto-reboots. It happens when I'm in menus for too long looking at different camos or loadouts. Win 10, Intel i7 something, 3080Ti... Hmm our gfx cards match. I'm up to date on driver. no other issues at all.
I had a patch install yesterday, but didn't see notes anywhere. However it looks to have resolved the issue so far, played for almost a hour no problem and built a huge base.
Nope still looks like its happening. Something about bringing up the construction menu. FPS takes a dive while its open and things start to slow down if you keep building/opening the menu. Got a full BSOD w/ a Kernel Heap Error Im running a 10850K & 3090Ti. Plenty of RAM. I suspect maybe a memory leak, but honestly not sure. Definitely needs a patch quickly
