[Suggestion] GUys... lets blow up a bridge

    Seriously though, Could be a fun idea, There needs to be more bridges you can't just drive around.

    I'm not so sure tats a good idea, the explosive spam from tanks trying to cross them would turn them to kindling in seconds.

    It would look neat, but it would be terrible for gameplay. Every bridge would be out, much like how every turret is destroyed at an Amp Station and no one bothers to fix them. And imagine the trolling that friendlies could do with a pile of friendship bricks near the end of the bridge. Friendly tanks start to cross, boom the end of the bridge is out. The tanks turn around, boom, another pile of bricks was detonated on the other end and now the tanks are trapped. If physics were on our side, the bridge would fall and kill everyone who was on it. If physics are implemented the only way SOE knows how, the bridge will flip around several times and fling tanks and infantry in random directions 500 meters away.

    There's like 8 bridges on that map and only one of them is more than 10' off the ground. Of the 3 maps that one would be the least affected.

    It's a bridge that you have to hack a terminal to control. If you don't control it, your vehicles will fall through. Could be fun.

    Having just a FEW destructible bridges that you had to blow up with C4 (that you could rebuild) would be fun! Basically like saying here's a "makeshift bridge" control point! fight for it! (Thus not as strong as the indestructible bridges elsewhere.) That would make game sense and would be fun without damaging the entire map with bridges being out all over the place. :)

    The problem with blowing up a bridge is that it would probably reward exp, and which means that every bridge you come across will likely be blown up regardless of any tactics or forethought.

    I like the laser bridge mechanic though. It just needs some ramps so that flashes, harassers, and the brave sundy driver with racing 3 have a chance at some evil knievel ****.

    +1 More objectives for infiltrators is a great thing and this would be awesome. Looks like Amerish is going to be the most interesting of the revamped continents (at least looks like Amerish) if this makes it to live

    Those bridges would indeed be nice, it is like the bridges at Hossin. Not sure what the base is called, the Interlink Facility or something. It is already implemented for infantry at that base.

    It would indeed be interesting for vehicles as well

    EDIT: Though those bridges could be hacked by any class, not just the infil. If these bridges at Amerish would be the same, then it is not for infils only.

    That could be fun, destructable bridges would not be fun.

    If they did this, they'd possibly need to redo Crown, again, since two of its three CPs are on those bridges.

    It could be nice to give the defenders some advantage, though. Crown would be a lot harder to get into if the control points controlled bridge access.
