Hello fellow Planetside 2 players, Many complain that guns are too expensive at 500-700 Station Cash each or $5-$7, but you are forgetting that many times during the year there are 2x/3x station cash events. There is probably one for Christmas, this will lower your cost for $2.50-$3.50 per weapon. Not to mention that there are weekly and daily sales that makes the guns another additional 50% off. So for the best bang for your buck, charge for station cash on 2x and 3x events. And buy weapons when they are in 50% weekly and/or daily bundles to receive a 75% reduction in cost. I have purchased many items for 250 station cash and charged during 2x station cash events. Now is $1.25/$1.75 per weapon still very expensive?
IMO, 2x/3x Station events are the real prices. As for daily deals, you can't really "wait" for the deal you want, it's just to incentivize compulsive buying (which most F2Ps do) due to the sheer ammount of shop items. And you will probably log on every day to check for the deals
Like with sales of electronics, or grocery store sales, some people will wait for the sales, others won't. There's a reason why the sale prices are not the "real prices" because the company makes more money by having the regular prices on things for people who don't mind spending the money on them. But agreed with OP, if you have issues with the money you spend on this game, just look for 2x or 3x sc sales, and look for daily ingame item sales. If you don't have the patience to wait for sales or don't want to be bothered by looking for sales, then you have no room to complain about the full prices.
