    have a pop up when i crash or exit the game, most recently crashing. only new software installed is overwolf for the ts3 overlay which stops working ingame as well.

    microsoft visual C++ runtime library
    runtime error!
    program: F:\planetside 2\planetside2.exe
    r6025
    -pure virtual function call

    Try downloading and re/installing Microsoft's C++ 2010 Redistributable.
  3. Huskar

    did that and repaired the installation hopefully that will fix it if not, i'll be back
  4. Huskar

    welp i'm back it didn't help, that notification stays up until i go into task manager/processes and end planetside2 directly from there and it's not showing up in applications, when i exit the game or even crash this happens. also i get a pop up in the lower right hand of my screen saying something about planetside2.exe wasn't allowed or something when i exit the game. have repaired/redownloaded both C++ and planetside2.

    Please ensure the programs listed below are updated on your system. Once updated, I would suggest rebooting your system to ensure all actions are completed.

    Here are the system update files:
    .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (Standard Installer): www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22
    DirectX9.0c (Web Installer): www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
    Windows Update (IMPORTANT: may need to run several times to pick-up all recommended/optional programs for the best compatibility, stability, and performance)

    If, after updating and rebooting, you still have the crashing issue, you may need to update another system file:
    C++ Redist: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632 (64-bit)
    C++ Redist: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21254 (64-bit)
    C++ Redist: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 (32-bit)
    C++ Redist: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26347 (32-bit)

    Once these are updated, you can reboot your system and retry getting into the game.

    No problem, let me know if your problems persist after installing those programs.

    Cool, never had this popup before. EVER, not even during all beta phases, an subsequent GU's until now.

    Interesting. I found the runtime error happens for me if I have TEAMSPEAK up an running before I launch from the launchpad. The moment I exit and disable TS, then run the client an launch the game.. I can login an load up without issue, then go to windowed mode an launch TS an the game will run fine.

    i have found that razer core messes with this as-well, if you run a razer headset, turn off razer core main and subsystem operations and it usually works

    I found that as well as a razer headset driver all razer programs/drivers create a error in the start up scrip as the 2 programs use the same driver.
    Would be nice to see an update in ps2 or a razer program in the future.
