Hi all. Up until yesterday I used Firefox to view the PS2 forums but sometime yesterday it begain showing me a "Station forums under mainenance" screen. 24hrs later I couldn't believe SOE forums was still down so I fired up IE and it works fine.....minus the fact I don't like IE much... I uninstalled/reinstalled FF and it still will not load the forums, any thoughts or Ideas? Thank you.
Yeah so how the heck I fix that? I mean it works fine in IE on my network....is there some cache in FF that is persistent even after an uninstall?
Well, I had this problem in Chrome a couple months back. I just fixed it by clearing the cookies of the browser. Try that and see if it works. -Hazzelinko
YAY Hazzelinko!! Thanks that did it. Lol been a long time since I had to clear "cookies". Wooha back in business!
This is a known issue, we know the cause, we just haven't worked through the right solution. We'll get it sorted soon, it's a high priority for the forum team. The fix is to nuke the cookie, specifically any Sony.com cookie.
