So I noticed that the "Fatestealer" (basic knife) is going on sale on December 27. This dagger may be easily confused with "Nightshade" (armor damaging knife). (The in-game preview shows Fatestealer for the sale). Additionally, players who completed EverQuest Directive up to the Fatestealer (not empowered) did not get to keep their Fatestealer. This was confirmed by Roxxlyy. It is a slap in the face to resell a knife that was pulled from players who earned it through the directive. Based on the knife's history and the sale of the Halloween Lightning cannon, it seems like the "Nightshade" was the version meant to go on sale.
I still have fatestealer from EverQuest in one of my accounts. Just don't know how to upgrade it. So its not true that it is lost....
