We are a community of like-minded people who want to experience a high level of coordination and teamwork during our gameplay sessions. We are a group that care about tactics, communication and, most of all, having fun. We know that quality always surpasses quantity and we each do our part to ensure that the clan as a whole and the experiences we have in it, are the best they possibly can be. Many of us spend a great amount of time and energy maintaining the clan, providing feedback for it, organizing game sessions, and so on. We find that the effort pays off with some of the most memorable gaming experiences we've ever had. Hopefully this post helps you to get a feel for whether we are the kind of group you are looking for. What is ETS? ETS members are never looking for easy, pat-yourself-on-the-back objectives with little or no resistance. You will never see ETS intentionally ghost capping or simply farming certs. We will choose to stand ground and defend a base against a massive attack, rather than go and cap empty bases simply because capping will get us more certs. We are always looking for a hard fight and we want our wins to be earned through skill, determination and proper teamwork. If we don't play at the top of our game, we fully expect to be defeated. Defeats simply inspire us to play better the next time and teach us how to improve our gameplay. As far as missions go, we will work for a variety of objectives -- depending on the current Alert status and population we may find ourselves doing any number of activities from night to night. We would like to build our roster so that we consistently have 50+ players on any given night to provide us with more flexibility in the types of objectives we can work towards. For example, a larger roster would allow us to actually cap an entire continent as an outfit, rather than assisting larger outfits in doing so. Our Principles Our group principles define our outfit and are what makes our group as solid as it is. Some highlights of these principles: Community first. We look for active community participation from all members -- Keeping in this spirit, leadership will not kick/ban/berate you for sharing your open, honest opinions and ideas about the clan. In fact we encourage it, to help us evolve into a better clan as time goes on! Quality-Over-Quantity Mindset. We hold our members to high standards of conduct and the group experience benefits immensely in turn. We are happy to sort through several applications just to find a single good member to invite to the clan. Active community participation. We aren't in this to accumulate a huge roster of players who never actually participate in our events. If you join us, expect to see an active community that is regularly culled to remove any dead weight that might accumulate. Camaraderie, evolution and achievement. We are proud of where we came from and where we are going. We try to promote a sense of camaraderie and see many of our gaming sessions as team-building exercises. Well-defined tactics, techniques, and procedures, with a group-level comprehension and proficiency of them. Our goal is to maintain a high level of tactical play without having to resort to "drill sessions" or other required training. Members are encouraged to learn as they play and develop an understanding of our tactics, naturally, through enjoyable and intense gameplay. Motivated leaders leading dedicated players. We strive for a high degree of competency in our playerbase and pride ourselves on how well our non-leading players conduct themselves in any given situation. Opportunities for leadership are plentiful and you'll find that ETS will follow you without hesitation into even the most absurdly "virtually dangerous" situations. "No BS" mentality. Bring a foul attitude into the group or otherwise behave in an undesirable way and you can expect to see yourself shown the door. The group trumps the individual and toxic attitudes are not tolerated. We currently have a restriction on age for recruitment -- If you are under 18, we will not accept your application at this time. we are looking for applicants who are 18 or older only. We do, however, make exceptions for friends/family of existing clan members. Events, Activities, Rewards We hold events on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as weekly training sessions. For now our event nights are mostly about opening public platoons for recruitment. But once we hit our recruiting goal, these will serve as closed outfit-only events. Outside of our normal events, we have other activities as well. We participate in SOE community events as often as possible, we do live streaming events for the clan, and we regularly just hop in Teamspeak to chat and joke around. Often time, these special events are accompanied with rewards ranging from Steam Wallet gift cards, free games, beta invites to games or even up to 5000 station cash! In closing...
