Error on update

When I attempt to install the update, the progress bar gets to 26.6%, stops, and throws this error.

Unable to write to Exception: Cannot open file - C:/Users/Public/Sony Online Entertainment/Installed Games/PlanetSide 2/Locale/en_us_data.dat (13) - http://pls.patch.station.sony.com/p...zs/a8/16b/cafa04193f3e5d8aff1bb05156d55db8d34. The file may be in use or you may lack the necessary permissions to install.

Try running in administrator mode, if it f'***** around with rights.


right mouse click on the icon -> run as administrator

Try to close proxy server. That might help.

Sure, man. Was it the proxy server?

Closed it, restarted computer, updated. No idea whether it was the restart or the proxy.
