Either buff Sunderers or give us more spawn options

They don't Deploy in the middle of the zerg, the Zerg forms around it. Typical Sundy drivers get very good at knowing the best places to deploy an AMS.... places that are not readily exposed to vehicle fire. The poorly placed ones are quickly destroyed, for obvious reasons. Its when they get dug in at a covered spot that things get kind of funky.

Those covered garages used in the outpost redesigns are specifically made with that set up in mind. They are largely protected from vehicle fire, so tanks have to get in close. I've also noticed that garage opening usually has some kind of terrain obstacle within 60-100m of the doorway.... this is intentionally done so MBTs can't simply snipe at it from long range. They'd have to get in close, get at an odd angle, or cross through enemy territory to get a proper vantage point on it.

No, they deploy in the center of the zerg.

Which don't mean much if there isn't a zerg around, and at least 5 engineers on it.

Pay attention to the next battle for once, you will typically see 1 sunderer deployed, and 5 of them parked right next to it, empty, waiting for that 1 to be destroyed so they can deploy.

nobody is going to waste all those mechanized resources on the most expensive ground vehicle, and park outside of the zerg, only have 1 guy spawn off of it, and then it's destroyed.

    Sunderers are fine.

If you are in a squad, you have *multiple* spawn options:
    - A nearby spawn tube
    - A nearby deployed sunderer
    - A spawn beacon
    - A squad owned galaxy
    - A squad owned sunderer that is driving around, or sitting somewhere with gunners inside

Smart squads pull two sunderers per squad and guard them.
