So after a long wait the devs have finaly improved XP gain for engineers and medics who upgrade their repair/heal tool. You still gain XP based on time spent healing/repairing but at least you get more XP per tick when you upgrade. These tests were done on a squad max, not sure what the regular tick XP rate is A max that was just revived by a lvl 1 medic will allow for 15 ticks of repair XP by a lvl 1 eng at 15 XP a tick 15*15 = 225 XP A max that was revived by a lvl 1 medic but being repaired by a lvl 5 eng will allow for only 11 ticks at 20 XP 11*20 = 220 XP The bigger problem here is that revives were unaffected. Reviving a player with lvl 1 medi tool, having them get up at 20% HP will net 75XP and reviving a player with a lvl 5 medi tool and having them jump up at 100% HP is still 75 XP
