Welcome to the Dangerous Operations Group recruit thread; where we tell ya 'bout ourselves and show you that DOG will not stand down from any enemy, big or small. "It's not the size of the DOG in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the DOG" The Dangerous Operations Group [DOG] is a militaristic styled combat team of warriors that deploy in the field under the harshest conditions to tackle the most fierce of opponents and take on the difficult yet seemingly impossible ops. As a primarily Light Assault outfit, speed and agility allow us to find our target, acquire the objective and move out as quickly as possible. DOG is a Light Assault, Air Mobile infantry outfit. This means transportation by air vehicles (primarily Galaxy drop ships) and the use of Light Assault jetpacks for infantry mobility. DOG operations under a strict setting, requiring each member to follow a certification guideline and class usage in order to operate. The following is a list of requirements for operation in DOG Primary Class: Light Assault Certs Jetpack (Both Standard and Drifter) C4 (Minimum 1 point) Sunderer AMS Weapon> Forward Grip Training: In Light Assault and piloting training courses. Comms: Teamspeak3 required. DOG operates as a primarily Light Assault, Air Mobile unit, using Galaxy or other air vehicles as a means of transportation to our intended targets. Air vehicles are considered disposable as you will not be in them long during each deployment. We run mostly assault operations, meaning once a base or objective is captured for the TR, we redeploy to another objective as quickly and efficiently as possible. The goals are usually straightforward, but once orders are given by the squad/platoon leaders, all DOG members are required to adhere to those orders once given. Although DOG is very militaristic, our goals are to have fun and respect that not all situations call for the same, specific measure of deployment. As such, members are encouraged to field other gameplay styles in compliment to our light assault strategy.
