   If my desktop is set to 1080p the game wont run. If I lower my res it runs fine.
   Well "runs fine" is a stretch. The game also will not run if my Razer drivers are running.
   
   edit: also I run the game in full screen so I don't understand why it makes a difference.

   Wide View Mode is broken in the game. That may be your problem.
