I'm interested in hearing what expectations the community has from SOE within the short term future. Since the priority shift to optimization & moving everything on the roadmap to "unscheduled" I'd gather that most of the community is in the dark as to what we can expect in the short term future. 1. With the first phase of optimization nearing completion are you or were you under the impression that SOE would begin adding content again or do you not expect any new content until optimization is deemed complete (Estimated December/January timeframe)? 2. If SOE could only focus on one, what would you be most interested in seeing first? A: Weapons/Vehicles - Example: The previewed ESF weapons, empire specific vehicles like the previewed NC enforcer, faction specific sniper rifles etc B: Hossin C: Improved Gameplay Mechanics - Example: Real incentives to capture & hold bases such as bases that house massive artillery platforms that could be used on cooldown, bases that improve the armor of vehicles produced from said base by small %, bases with consoles that allow your faction to tap into enemy orders chat or manipulate their map data temporarily etc etc D: Consumables - Example: Malorn recently talked about the possibility on FNO of earning consumables by leading the scoreboard after conflicts or going on killstreaks. Consumables such as being able to drop pod at desired locations, UAV, orbital strike etc. 3. What does "metagame" mean to you & is it something that Planetside 2 currently has? 4. Within your inner circle, what % of your friends/people you know/knew played PS2 & continue to play PS2? (Example - You have 10 friends, 8 of them still play to this day. Therefore, 80% are still actively playing PS2.) Active play being logging in once a week for a few hours. If your answer is not 100%, what would it take to bring these individuals back to the game?
