As image below shows I'm going through Deutsche Telekom and it's still using Level3. Half of the packets are not even reaching server gateway. It's usually in 35-40ms range.
Packet loss is noticeable ingame with connection quality all day "bad". SOE please update us if anything is being done to Cobalt. Anyone on Cobalt tried playing on miller? it's working for me on Miller as it was on Cobalt before this ******* maintenance, but i'm not about to move to another server. Gonna take a wild guess that they're just gonna leave it as it is.
Yea it should be better to turn off Cobalt then have the server like this :/, I got 100-150ping but connection quality is bad. Didnt think it could be any worse then it have been this month with high ping, but now I cant play at all. SOE should give all members 1k SC for all server problems.
So i played today on both of the servers, after update, i got a >330ms ping on miller, constantly bad connection quality And then on Cobalt i got a >300 ms ping, so the bottom ping i got was just slightly below the one on Miller...
Same here. Like Thunde333, i thought it couldn't be worse than what we've had lately, but it very much is. I used to be able to play at least on not too crowded continents, but now i'd better avoid logging in entirely. I have a very playable ping(40~70ms), constant warning about connection quality displayed. Then some lag spike comes in pushing the ping way past 1k and people start walking in the air for a few seconds, then back to normal. Then lag spike 15~20 seconds later. It's astounding that a Deutsche Telekom customer is still routed in the same fashion as before, while i, as a France Telecom/Orange customer am now routed through Equinix instead of Level3. I don't understand what they did, but i'm sure about one thing: i'd rather not play at all than in these conditions.

That equinix server give me bad ping each time it shows up, if it route throught another server I get good ping.
3 days ago ping issues suddenly started for me. Today (30.1.15) afternoon the ping was fine again at around 70ms. Now in the evening, it is bad again. Usually around 300ms - 450ms, spiking up to 700ms and sometimes even to almost 4000ms, but that just for some seconds Also my FPS got notably worse (20-30), I saw someone else saying that in /yell as well.
I tested both cobalt and miller, and it is really bad everywhere. While usually having a ping around 90, today I reached an incredible 5000 ms (5-0-0-0 ! ).

Same here. Cobalt is not playable anymore - connection quality bad, all the time. Miller - connection quality good
Same here. Happy when i get 270ms, usually around 500 - 700 ms. Same Level3 problem on my traceroute. And its not even funny. I got the issues since 1,5 weeks or so. Before that i was able to play with 70-90 ms. Im not alone. First outfit-mates have issued their "I'm gone until..."-threads today. SOE are u getting blackmailed or something?
Same here too. Interesting enough, traceroute shows ~42ms, game shows only "bad connection" and is entirely unplayable.

Same here, Bad quality connection all the time and ping between 120-700 occasionally jumping to 7-12k. Tanks, sunderers flying , players climbing into space... Totally unplayable
The game is laggy since the patch before Christmas for me, but since the maintenance on 30th of January the game is unplayable. Video from yesterday evening during primetime: PS2 servers are in Amsterdam as far as i know, so i made a Speedtest to Amsterdam servers ... I have a 100mbit cable connection and other games run great, but PS2 is often so laggy that it ruins all the fun. I dont know what SOE is doing with their servers. Probably downgrading them, because i cant remember any major lag issues back in 2013 when i subscribed.
