I usually play on a resolution of 1600x900, just to squeeze every bit of fps out of the game. After the last game update, i no longer have that resolution in the graphics drop down menu in game. These are the only 3 resolutions shown after the last update Since the in game settings didn't work, I tried to force the resolution in the useroptions file, but it has no effect, and remains at 1920x1080.Is this an issue with the game or could it be hardware based. Nothing has changed on my pc other than this last game update.
That's definitely strange. I would first suggest removing your video card's drivers (I use Driver Sweeper, myself), and reinstalling the latest one from your video card's manufacturer web-site. Once you've done that, reboot your computer to ensure all of the changes are applied successfully, and try to change your resolution again.
