So I spent quite a bit of time today checking all of the Capture Points on Indar. This was all done on a LA Vanu Character, with some of the points being friendly and others enemy held. I was simply checking for where the point influence was, nothing more (was it where is says on the map? can you influence the point when you get to it?). So I can't say if all of these are actually able to be flipped in battle. I'll highlight those bases with problems in red. Hvar Watchtower: Point in building outside of tower (building not on map) - No Influence Actual Influence - point in old location inside Tower (current position on live). Hvar Southgate Garrison: Fine Hvar Northgate Garrison: Fine Hvar Tech Plant: Fine Sandstone Gulch Mining: Fine Indar Bay Point: A - Fine B - No influence at point marked on map. Actual influence - inside building to southeast of marked point (upper floor) Highlands Solar Station: Fine Ceres Farms: Fine Ayani Labs: Fine NS Secure Data Lab: Fine Ceres Biotech: Fine Highlands Substation: Fine Peris Barracks: Fine Peris Field Tower: Fine Peris Eastern Grove: Fine Peris Amp Station: Fine NS Research Labs: Fine Vanu Archives: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine Snake Ravine Lookout: Fine Regent Rock Garrison: A - Fine B - Fine C - No influence right next to point. Actual influence - bottom of the stairs inside point building. Scarred Mesa Skydock: Fine - note: large influence (~30m) Red Ridge Communications: Fine Tawrich Recycling: No influence right next to point: Actual influence - North East corner on roof of point building (also north east window frame top floor). Map also seems a little misaligned here Tawrich Tower: No Influence on cap point Actual influence - inside tower close to old style capture point (slightly misaligned from where you would expect it to be) Tawrich Depot: Fine Tawrich Tech Plant: Fine Broken Arch Road: Fine Blackshard Iridium Mine: Fine Gravel Pass: Fine The Stronghold: Fine Feldspar Canyon Base: A - Fine B - No influence right on cap point. Actual influence - downstairs from cap point in the north section of the same building. C - Fine Old Auraxium Mines: Fine Copper Ravine Station: No influence right next to point. Actual Influence - outside capture building about 25m to the south of the capture point on map, against a wall. Arroyo Torre Station: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine Valley Storage Yard: Fine The Old Stockpile: Fine - Note: Influence large (e.g. can influence on top of building). Possible problem? Rashnu Southern Pass: Fine Rashnu Bio Lab: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine Rashnu Watchtower: No influence right next to new point. Actual influence - old point location inside tower. New point disappears on map when you get close to it. Rashnu Cavern: Fine Rust Mesa Lookout: Fine Zurvan Network Complex: Fine Zurvan Storage Yard: Fine Zurvan Pump Station: Fine Zurvan Amp Station: Fine The Crown: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine NS Material Storage: Fine Crimson Bluff Tower: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine The Pallisade: Fine Crossroads Watch Tower: A - Fine B - No Influence on point. Actual influence - in what I assume is the old position, to the southwest of the new point, slightly to the south of the small building across the road. C - No influence on point. Actual influence - in old point position (in other building to the northwest of control point on map, at the top of the stairs). Xenotech Labs: Fine TI Alloys: Fine Ceres Hydroponics: Fine Allatum Broadcast Hub: Fine Allatum Research Lab: Fine Allatum Botany Wing: Fine Allatum Bio Lab: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine D - Fine West Highlands Checkpoint: Fine Quartz Ridge Camp: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine Indar Excavation Site: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine Indar Comm. Array Fine Seabed Listening Post: Fine Galaxy Solar Plant: Fine East Canyon Checkpoint: Fine Howling Pass Checkpoint: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine Abandoned NS Offices Fine Mao Southeast Gate: No influence right next to cap. Actual Influence down the stairs (east) from cap point. Mao Watchtower: Fine (cap and influence is inside the tower) Mao Southwest Gate: The cap point appears where it is displayed on the map, but this is floating in the air in game rather than inside a building. Map appears to be misaligned here. The cap point does give influence despite floating. Mao Tech Plant: Fine NS Refinery: Base buildings are not located where they are on the map. However the cap point is present where the base buildings are on the map (in the middle of the desert in game). The base itself appears to be close to where the icon representing it is on the map, but there is no cap point there to influence. Lots going wrong with this one basically. Camp Waterson: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine Alkali Storage: Fine Crater Firing Range: Fine Briggs Laboratories: Fine J908 Impact Site: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine Dahaka Pump Station: Fine Dahaka Southern Post: Fine Dahaka Uplink Hub: Fine Dahaka Amp Station: Fine CoraMed Labs: Fine Alkali Shipping: Fine Alkali Mining Supply: Fine Helios Solar, Inc. Fine Nanite Overflow Depot: No buildings where it is indicated on the map, but the capture point remains there, in empty desert. The facility itself appears to have been moved just west of Saurva Bio Lab, but isn't there on the map. Saurva South Fortress: Fine Saurva Data Storage: Fine Saurva Bio Lab: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine D - Fine Benson Construction: Fine Camp Connery: A - Fine B - Fine C - Fine Indar Waste Treatment: Fine NS Salvage Yard: Fine Please let me know if I have missed any points out.
Thanks. I thought it wise to check every single one, despite assuming most would be fine (which they do appear to be).
Beat me too it. I had noticed some of these, in particular Nanite Overflow, Tawrich Recycling and the Crossroads Watchtower and when I got on today on my NC character was going to check to see if the latest patch had fixed them. (That is if it would let me) Thanks for systematically checking all points.
It's funny, because some of the bases they have moved completely (e.g. Seabed Listening Post) are just fine. I guess that probably indicates which were moved earlier in the process?
With Nanite Overflow it is barren desert... but the mini-map shows buildings. And if you walk through it on a NC character there is a Pain field in the area. Its also the only way to flip the point, that is by following the mini map on the default setting, not by trusting your eyes.
