Biolab Alert on Mattherson right now, and the deck is stacked that so that the NC can't even get one

    There's still nearly an hour left and the NC have zero chance of even securing one Biolab. Its not just the fact that the population is 40/30/30 in favor of the VS. But the mechanics built into the game so heavily favor population that it would actually be impossible (not improbable, or very difficult, but actually impossible) for the NC to actually take a Biolab.

    The game is mechanically broken. As soon as the NC start to make a headway on to a Biolab, the VS will suicide/redeploy/suicide/redeploy/etc/etc until they get to the Biolab and overwhelm it with numbers that the NC get pushed out again.

    We've been through this before when The Enclave mass abused hotdrops to instantly put platoons worth of people on a single point. The deploy system is, flat out, broken as it can be abused to move across the map in less time it takes for an SCU to be taken down. The spawn mechanics have killed the use of Galaxies, it has killed the essence of strategy because you cannot target an empire's weak position because that weak position can be flooded with defenders in under a minute. Its a complete failure of game design and like hotdropping before it, it needs to either be removed or severely punished.

    Where are the TR? are they also attacking a biolab? If not then they can afford to dedicate all their troops to one hex. If TR/NC worked together they could easily stomp a 40% VS pop.

    Just log onto the Vanu, I honestly wish everyone would on that server.

    If the NC have trouble coordinating amongst themselves what makes you think they would suddenly gain the ability to coordinate with eachother all at the same time to not shoot the TR? That's like not being able to win at a track meet, but then suggesting that same person compete in Olympics :p

    It happened once where we did attack the same objective while doing our own separate thing, it wasn't an alliance, but that was because the among of Vanu bragging reached critical Max so we both took a side of the Vanu's Indar Warp Gate and owned them hard.:cool:

    Well its not really my problem that they can't do it, its been the solution to pop problems on nearly every other server. Back in the day on miller fighting the TR prime time 45% we took steps to make sure the TR didn't win by any means possible whether that meant dropping into ailing NC bases to uproot the TR assault or cutting around behind to cut them off. If the NC won an alert we just said "**** yeah we owned the TR" and walked away happy.

    Actually no they cant ( most of the time ) , because of the way VS ( matherson ) play this game break the game actually ... vs pull around 150 players for around 50 to 70 NC , if the NC get 100 more folk in this regions it break the game , grenade wont explode , medic kit wont work properly jetpack cooldown wont work as intended and so on , perfomance issue, infantry render distance poping in and out every 5 metres etc..etc..etc..

    The VS on matherson play like THE ENCLAVE back in the day ruining every figth with insanely Huge pops dropping all at once with maxs etc..

    Figths need to be spread decently over the map ... and we need in game mechanics that forces players to do so , because since the beta i havent seen the pops spreading in the rigth way to ensure mostly Fair and manageable figths ... Its always Zergs on a side and poor guys who got steam rolls on the other ...

    Peoples will always ,abuse when they are allowed to do so , dont ask the VS to change the way they play they wont , you have to force them to do it

    Its clear NC and TR need to start not attacking each other during alerts. That will really discourage the 4th faction.

    Well everyone does that man... NC does that sometimes too. What I meant was between Lockdown FracMaxes creating area denial suppression with collateral damage potential if you decide to step out, and ZOE Maxes making the Aegis loadout useless "brb, backpedaling faster than you can sprint so you will never close the gap to where your extended mag shotguns are viable meanwhile gunning down your entire Kinetic 5 health pool little by little while you can do nothing but continue to die" NC Maxes are rarely king of the Biolab anymore.

    Mattherson suffered a highend break where a large percentage of high BR NC on server changed to VS. The result was a massive surge in VS population followed by several months of alert domination by VS on the server that gave VS a huge cert advantage over TR and NC.

    Funneling new players to mattherson for TR and NC has somewhat offset VS population advantage. But there is a large gap in average number of certs per player favoring VS still. It will take months to even out populations on mattherson both numbers and battle rank wise.

    100 active players spread out over 3 timezones sure is massive in this game

    3 faction PvP games depends on the idea that if one faction is massively overwhelming the others, that the other 2 factions will turn and attack the 3rd faction together.

    Unfortunately this does not occur, as the faction in 2nd place will be attacked by the faction in 3rd place as the 3rd place faction has given up on beating the faction in 1st place and reasons that the only way to have fun is to attack the faction in 2nd, unknowingly or uncaring securing victory for the already dominate 1st faction.

    actually what happen is that TR and NC will try to figth eachothers avoiding the VS zergs lol this is basically what happen most of the time , so everyones trying to win the alert on NC or even TR get screw outnumbered all the time by some 60 to 90 % vs pops in any contested area lol it beyong ridiculous , basically its THE ENCLAVE X10 on the VS matherson rigth now , they basically maxs crash every objective all the time , actually i think ive seen the VS matherson winning like 1 or 2 figths whiout been Overpops in my entire planetside 2 experience and i always take a close look at pops

    The NC was fighting TR most of the alert... They attacked the TR on Indar when TR had the bio lab on the mid right of the map... wtf?
    At least TR kept one...maybe 2..
    The NC didn't try.... at all.. really... lol

    The other day on FNO on Briggs the NC and TR had a pact against TROLL a huge zerg VS outfit. Care to take a look at the podcast for FNO39 to find out what happened to the VS? HINT: They were basically warp gated while an alert was going on.

    If you're VS, then yes, if I'm thinking of the right alert. Something like 8 VS biolabs and 1 TR biolab on Indar deep in red territory with 10 minute left on the timer.
