Two observations: 1) More and more people feel that aircraft, and to to some extent tanks, get in the way of good infantry combat. 2) Amerish has always been unpopular. Why not make Amerish an infantry combat zone where it's not possible to spawn Liberators, ESFs, MBTs and Lightnings? So that us terribly bad infantry players who should l2play can actually just have fun doing what we like doing without interference. That said, tanks may actually fit in well enough with 2.5x increased resource cost so that's something to consider as well.
