Ambusher jets and lag teleporting

    I'll keep it short- in large fights ambusher jets are turbo busted. MAX charge was removed because rapid movement failed to sync fast enough and the MAX would render right as it came on top of you. Same thing is happening with light assaults now. Except the rapid movement also involves flight which throws wonky hitboxes into the equation as well.

    No one really knows why MAX Charge was removed.

    The base speed aspect of the complaint I get. The original Icarus Jumpjets, for the most applicable example, were removed because they kept providing acceleration in such a way that shifted the hitbox away from the model due to the game thinking the player was always moving faster than he really was. (That's how it was explained to me.) I don't know if the compensation algorithms were adjusted for verticality since but the re-released Icarus jets use much smoother movement. Ambusher jets seem to behave the same way.
