[Suggestion] Alerts and Continent Rewards

    The current system has some issues. During off hours 2 factions are able to find a good fight and the 3rd floods the map. This means that come prime time, factions have slight competitive advantages based on who WASN'T able to find a good fight off hours. The players who "earned" the reward hardly benefit, while players who had nothing to do with it are arbitrarily rewarded on punished.

    My suggestion: Scrap the faction alert benefits. Some could be integrated into core game play, such as ammo towers repairing vehicles, others just aren't needed. It's also obvious that the studio isn't brimming with reward ideas, given the Oshur...gives a discount.

    Instead, give some player benefits for those who participated in at least 1 hour and on the winning side. Maybe more certs than current, but that really won't change player behavior since 90 minutes of thick fights will pay out far more than would be reasonable to pay out for an alert win. Instead something to do with directives might motivate some players. For others...a hat? If there's one thing TF2 taught me it's the absurd measures players will go to for a hat.
