like the title says it needs to be done. DO NOT! nerf any weapons on the aircrafts or tanks,the only thing that needs to be done is a buff on AA and ANTI Vehicle weapons. people will understand this but when you have a sky filled with aircraft blocking out the sun and looking down to a ground full of tanks the only defense people have against these are the AA and AT weapons which are useless because its like firing peanuts at them. dont give me rubbish in they are fine because they are clearly not.
It is a fine balance that needs to be achieved. Hopefully they do it incrementally. It was horrid when AA was overpowered in beta and that isnt something that needs to return.
The issue with balancing AA/AT outside of MAX and emplacements is that is it really fair if you spawn a "free" HA trooper and blow a plane out of the sky in 2 shots, when they have to pay resources and have a long repurchase timer on the vehicle? This is coming from an almost strictly infantry player, I still don't even have the AA launcher unlocked, but if you get a couple guys in your squad to focus the fighters and bombers its not that hard to take them down. Its just hard if you try to do it all by yourself, which it should be.
WRONG. Aircraft rocket pods need to be nerfed some, but if AA is made more powerful you will simply get no aircraft of any sort, its stupid in the extreme to change variables that effect many many different things to fix a problem that exists because of a single weapon/vehicle combination. There is no problem with air to air ESFs, there is no problem with Libs, there is no problem with Galaxys.... So why would you want to increase the effectiveness of already dangerous weapons against them? Because you're making a knee jerk response to being rocket podded a lot (and maybe blown up by tanks too). Think again please.
