Why are they such a pain to setup and manage? We're constantly getting errors when trying to promote members to Squad / Platoon Commander. If your PltCo crashes you're in deep trouble, because apparently the guy receiving the battlefield promotion isn't actually the new PltCo. For a system so important to organized play and outfits it is a shame to see it in such a sorry state.
Not to mention the fact that platoon squads cannot be opened for recruitment etc. after being incorporated in to the platoon. Are the way points all still bugged? As in leaving themselves lying around the map like lazy students that won't leave your house the morning after?
It's a shame that so many people come together to have fun only to get robbed on it by a buggy system. SOE, get to work
Agreed. Serious, serious issues with the platoon system at the moment. Buggy waypoints, buggy promotions, and God help if you if you want separate people for Alpha SQL and Platoon Lead...
Yeah we need the platoon tools to work, and you should improve them even more. This is a serious issue!
Outfit was rolling along nicely, we lose one squad leader and are then unable to put the person we want to into that role, eventually leading to us disbanding and then reforming the whole platoon because the platoon leader was unable to assign the correct squad leader either, lost all momementum and the platoon basically fell apart due to the 15-20 minutes it took us to get the platoon reformed we just lost all focus. Platoons need to work first time everytime for something this integral to gameplay.
Come on rest of you platoon-wide outfits. Get in here and support WASP! Surely you must have noticed this as well?
Maybe alot of people are playing without an outfit? If thats the case they really should sign up for one. Makes the game much more epic! And then they will realize, how broken the platoon tools are.
Command cents seem a bit buggy in general. On another note, anyone know how to actually use the restricted command channel?
