Getting 1/3 the usual FPS since Fortification Update

Running a 5900x with a 6900xt, pre-patch was easily getting 150-200 fps on a 21:9 screen (3440x1440p) with settings at the highest.

Since the patch it's between 45-70fps max, the utilization of the 6900xt bounces between 20% to 40% and junction temp around 60c (card temp 50-55c), where as previously the card would utilize almost at 100% and the junction temp around 86c (card temp 65-70c).

There is no upscaling on anything enabled, tried running in fullscreen, borderless windowed, windowed, turning vsync on/off, everything...

Any thoughts or suggestions?

i feel like i am getting worse performance too

Same. FPS goes from 180-240, down to 15-30... usually when rendering translucent objects.

i am playing on near potato settings and i dont have a trash pc as seen here with benchmark score and get 50 fps in even a small fight 24/24

FPS tanked to 1/4 or worse after update. This is even on fresh continents w/out the build spam.

Yep. Getting to where I CRINGE whenever I see the launcher download something.
