I find the game to be unplayable, it's constantly displaying "bad connection" and my ping is all over the place between 80ms and 10000+ ms. Something has gone horribly wrong.
For me it looks like Sonys ISP is Deutsche Telekom and their Data Limit is reached so they are running with 56k speed
y same here i payed so much money and now... everything useless cause im dead before i see the enemy.. even my cool helmet dont helps me want my money back
Please don't slag off modems, I used to play TF on US servers with a 19k modem and it worked better than Cobalt does now on Fiber!
Same problem here. I was in a base defense and I saw an enemy. I targeted him and shot at him. I was killed and 5 seconds later he was killed, eventough I fired 1 second first. I looked after the combat at my ping and guess what I saw: 5692 ms!!!! Another example: At the same base I build up my AV Turret and I shot at enemies. After this, people were hovering in the air for 3 seconds, and then I got shot by a sniper. I didn't stand a chance. I looked my ping up and I saw this: 10162 ms!!!! This is not okay. This patch didn't change anything, it made everything worse. I want atleast 1 500 Station Cash as a compensation. This is not acceptable SOE. I know you're busy with H1Z1, but this ******** has to stop. The best thing about this: It seems the developers don't care about our trouble... I just want to play Planetside 2....
i'm an all access member and can't play a single soe game because of ping and package loss! Please fix this asap, this is unacceptable!

So here i am, over a year being a member. 1. Game is totally broken now. Clap clap. It wasn´t perfect but at least it was playable with 300ms from time to time or little bit spikes from time to time. Nowdays, you walk out of spawnroom, the ping goes 1500+ on every 1 minute loop. So you basically have 1 minute to make up your stuff, then hide in the spawnroom and wait for a good ping. Or get rekt by someone who is not on 1500 spike at the moment without even knowing what´s going on. I had a lots of fun like that today. Heh, i did. Especially when i was not on loop and people were just staying on the same spot. 2. We never got any informations, because SOE doesnt give a damn about us. They communicate on Reddit or other no-life spam dumb sites, ignoring giving at least some informations for the people who obviously dont use spam-Nanites unofficial sources. Rating SOE communications with player base : -11/10. You guys sucks at handling the communications, that´s a fact. 3. YAY PS2 ON PS4! YAY! Let´s just leave PC version behind. Do we even care about playerbase? Oh we do. We do helmets and camos, and we let players do helmets and camos you can buy them in store! If the game only worked so we can use them heh. To sum up: everything as usuall, only exception the game is totally unplayable for last year now. Communication is lacking , as always. Performance is a real pain, as always. Best regards, a random user that decided to support your product and is not so quite happy (may i say sad) with current situation status, and barely running on any hope left for this team to not break the game with an update.

Go check out Reddit. I´m sure you see one of them there. Maybe when you spend 20 hours browsing trough community whine- posts about OP things, you find a proper post. Dont mind Forums are official way to tell the community bad / good news. Reddit is the thing for SOE. As i said, communication S U C K S
Well, i'm done, game unplayable at all, barely taking any commands just used 4 medkits and none registered, it's clear they've just moved on this issue now. So Sad that miller got ****** up entirely and was fixed, but since Cobalt got ****** in segments we missed the fix. Thanks SOE, for caring.
Just some gameplay on Cobalt from yesterday evening... While other players from the Netherlands don't have these issues, I still see spooky things ingame At first I thought it was my new machine causing it, but thats rather unlikely when more people complain about the connection...
This is exactly what it is like for me - completely unplayable. Yet as you say some people don't seem to be affected at all, or at least not as affected. It makes for frustrating, infuriating, unenjoyable gaming.
