Big suprise...the update won't be till next week.

They won't bother updating it later today...it was either going to be this morning or next week.

I have a feeling they will be making this a trend...

I dont care if its delayed a week, as long as it works.

I think it's within this week, Sunday the latest. They did mention later this week, they wouldn't lie about it......would they?

While this individual instance would not bother me. They ignored the horrible state of the game when it was released, went on vacation, ignored all the issues going on long enough that people hit BR 100 through pure hacking and or just abusing the game, Lib spam made half the players quit.

They respond with this big plan and great jan. patch that will make everything ok and already failed to bring it on time. I mean, maybe its just me but I expect things on a business level to be done professionally. I don't care if I am working for Bill Gates, or for Burger King. I don't care if I was a freaking Porno Movie director. If I say I am going to do something, I do it on time, and right the first time. These people are pretty garbage for real. Either that or PS is their own little dream they do not really need or care about the money, they are just creating/continuing the game they wanted to make as a child and have no real interest in rather its good or how many people like it.

Same people who were going to quit are now saying its ok take your time guys no problem. Just suck more. Kinda weird. But either way this really annoys me. I do not plan on buying a SMG or anything anymore right now. If the games fun enough I will just earn one. Nevermind supporting them in producing the game. I am not going to pay a bunch of rich folk to take my money and do nothing with it.

Change the roadmap into a 12 month plan so nobody complains later

They should've just deployed with what they had, told us what they held back and give us a new update down the line.

I guess they could split GU2 into hotfixes and deploy them in series, but it isn't as fun, now is it?

What you gonna say if it's released next week and it's buggy as hell anyway? This is SOE we are talking about. I don't think they've ever released a patch that didn't break something that it shouldn't have.

I would prefer someone does their job and meets deadlines they set for them self. We never pressured them to say Jan 30th. They are setting their own goals and failing.

If there are going to be bugs, thre are going to be bugs. There are not 10,000 devs to log in and test the patch together.

These people are "professionals"

You should already have been working on these things and have an idea of when they will be done. Not just coming out with the ideas and saying we will add them by this date.

My biggest issue with this one is that they did not hesitate to release a clearly unfinished game, but they are delaying an important patch without hesitating for the sake of quality...

They have to be consistent somewhere... I would have loved to see the game delayed too...

Everyone needs to calm down, i want quality. If it takes them longer so be it. Its not like they are taking the game from you, its still there, I would rather have a polished product, something they feel comfortable with so we can start stomping out the other problems with it instead of having to deal with problems they already knew about and they are rushing to get us something new just to appease impatient people.
