well, like some have put it...I prefer a healer who understands their job! Healers are suppose to Heal. One who gets to close (and starts taking hits) or nukes for no reason other than to drain his/her power, needs to revist what they choose to be a healer. Skills is a big one as well....every class, not just healers should always have their spells at minimum Apprentice 3. But to answer the question...I prefer Clerics, I love the reactive heals...plus with redoubt I get a nice HP buff, and they can also throw some nasty debuffs on your opponent.
I 2box a mystic and have ZERO complaints about it. Wards are not the only way to keep a player alive with a mystic. Slowing a mob and then crippling it with debuffs is as good as just throwing a heal. Not taking damage due to slow, then taking very little due to mitigation is very nice. Ive never met a healer class that has gotten me killed, I have met players that have though. Its very much the player, and not the class.
