What is the point of giving alts access to the Blinding?

You don't need the bug to get there, if you have the magi illusion you can float down to the path that takes you right up to the city and it can easily be done without attracting any aggro mobs.

Er, what's bad about the prelude quest? I just did it two days ago on scabby alts, no issues?

This is what I did too! Played a mini game of "how far can I float" before having to hit land.

And if you don't have the illusion? I don't, and if not a class or race that has safe fall, have died trying to get down the cliffs. At this point, I am running a single character through the entire line, but only going as far as I need to for the others to get to 120 and then stopping. When I can be bothered playing at all, that is.

I haven't found a way without the illusion yet, but truth be told I am probably not going to try. I just sign on and collect the overseer junk now and sign off and I may even quit doing that, hell I don't even care about the loyalty tokens anymore as they havent updated anything in so many years with it its a joke now.
The whole game is a very sad joke.
When/if they ever bring back the old BG's I might be enticed to coming back, but they are going to need some new management as the current team apparently cant do it.
  6. Wulfgyr I've got friends in EQ2Wire places

Ah, got it. Thought once my mains got through, it'd be there for all (like the notice you get on alts that Myrist access is now granted.) Haven't brought any alts there for the Tradeskill line, 'cause there's no sense in leveling them for something so broken.

I used the harvesting cloak when Wulf & Myst were doing the TS line, but not everyone will have that either - a search for "featherfall" on EQ2U came up with 175 items, but I'm betting a bunch of those are LoN related and no longer available. :\

So it's been fixed? And is now soloable by any class at level 110 with just library box gear?

I'll believe that when I see it. I've been through after "fixes" and it was still a mind-numbingly-hard quest. I've heard other players claim that this is because you can't do the BoL quests if you can't get through the access quest. That is total nonsense. I didn't do dip, while people escorted my characters through the access quest, except to free the gnomes, and I had no problems getting my characters to 120.

Fortunately, there are a lot of wonderful people playing EQ2, so I only had to wait to get help twice for the 20+ characters who went through the access quest. So if you have problems doing the quest, ask for help--preferably from someone who is raid equipped. Then all you have to do is free 6 gnomes and stay out of the way lol. Good luck.

There are dozens of wearable safe fall items. Gnomish parachutes are tinkered and can be activated from inventory. So there are other viable solutions to keep in mind.

For as low as 30,000 plat there are often LoN featherfall cloaks at the broker. :)

Open invitation to anyone on Antonia Bayle: If you find a character from Wardens of the Dragon online it is likely me. I will come and help with the pre-requisite or anything else that I can. I definitely can't do raid stuff but I also definitely can help out with the pre-requisite!

    Cheers.
