Plat out of raid New raid zones

    Prices on CB have been holding steady. I haven't seen a hint of runaway inflation.

    I see this oft suggested, and I guess I'm not really against it. But wouldn't it just generate silliness in the other direction? If the amount of plat generated by a raid zone is proportional to the number of people in it, wouldn't that just encourage more boxed alts, more disposable accounts, more people dragged in, just to get the plat-per-run higher?

    How about this, every time a new expansion is released, plat chests from the older expansions is cut in half. Keep reasonable plat chests in 'current' content. But as content ages, and becomes trivial, it becomes less and less profitable.

    I realize they've muddled the definition of expansion so much that it might be impossible. But you get the idea. It would result in PR being 1/16th the plat it currently is, VP 1/8th, etc.. (Using one arbitrary definition of expansion)

    Just a passing thought.
