Ya the adjustable rocks especially for me I'm only 4' 10" (not bothering to convert that to metric LOL sorry) so if they don't adjust they dig right into my neck.
I am 5'5" and they dig into my neck as well. I think they have been manufactured to dig into your neck no matter how short or tall you are, its how they roll I guess. Back in the day the driver's arm flew across the car and busted anybody else in the front seat in the chest if they had to do a sudden stop. This did not cease when shoulder/lap belts became the norm. I believe I had a bruise across my chest from 1967, until the end of 1999. I think the bruise took about 9 months to go away after my grandma died.
Hnh! Here I thought it was my mom doing that deliberately to keep me in my seat, no matter how often I'd say, "<gasp from the sudden stop> Mom, I do have a seat belt, I'm okay... <wheeze>" ;-> Uwk
