So that part of my post is on topic: It is probably a good idea to fact check before making a post about older recipes and things like that which aren't likely to change. (I've been guilty a couple of times of not doing more than a cursory fact-check, so this applies to me, too. ) If one chooses not to do so, then one should be prepared for a large slice of humble pie (figuratively speaking).
So... AoM beta info + outrage + me not researching my own site for recipe facts = winning? Ah well, I have raspberry trifle and scratch apple pie to drown my sorrows in.
