Kaitheel, I thought of a Frostfell must have!!!

Last night, I was playfully harassing Lera the Frostfell Elf in the Homeshow Channel and the subject of the NoTD Ancient Urns came up. Before I knew it, it popped out of my mouth (typed of course, no voice here), drumroll please *hears drumroll*:

FROSTFELL URN THAT SPAWNS ICE CUBES

We really, really need this. Dame Lera even did the *grabby fingers* at me when she realized what I was suggesting.

Please oh please, could we get a request for this to Santa Glug so his Frostfell Elves could start working on it?

a what? no more urns please, but I'd settle on a pet iced cube, or a melting ice cube leaving a trail if water pet, or a melting cube standing in a little puddle plushie

Hmmmmm ....... An Ice Cubie pet would be nice. I would hate to clean up all the ice cubes off the floor (hated bagging ice when I worked at a party shop in my ancient youth).

But for me, How about a small Ice Dragon familiar or pet puffing snow out his mouth every now and then.

The only thing which would be cool to have around .......An Ice slick tile or rink ......At least then I could skate around year round <<Grins>>

Kaitheel, you have not said anything about this wonderful item that I thought of and that Lera did the *grabby hands* thing at me for. Seems Lera has not visited either and it was an idea fit for a Frostfell Elf.

Hey! Love that last one, particularly! Back in the day when they first iced up the Village (I can still remember when there was WATER between the islands, and you could work on your Swim skill that way if you didn't want to take the rainbows. Thank heavens the giant sharks weren't aggro ;->), it was like freakin' Ice-9: so dang slippery you couldn't stop until something stopped you, or you had to make really wide, dramatic, Olympic-level gestures to even slow down (and the gods help you if that -- [scrolling through lists of epithets that won't get turned into asterixes] WENCH -- decided to target you for deliberate assault from half the Village away) enough to get a glowie. At least now, the ice is a little rougher; you can still get a good workout skating around on it, if you want. If you don't want, you can stop yourself before the event's over for the year.

So, yeah! An ice tile that we could make our own rinks with would be interesting!

Oh My, with Ice Tiles or a rink ..... We can give the Gnomes some work! Will need a Tinkered Chomper Jaw Gnomish Zam-Boni and of course some Tinkered High-rise Ice Skates .....

For the Zam-Boni, it has Chomper Jaws shave the Ice (Necro reaminated Jaws) and collect the shavings, a small fire elemental cleans the shavings, and directs it back to the Snowmen steering, to smooth and resurface the ice, and it is powered by strong rats (Hampsters)!

And for skates, some weaponsmiths use left over sword blades, and gnomes use these crazy curved contraptions attached to our boots.

We could use the shaved ice for snowcones!!! I love snowcones. Just a thought.

I did that once! For an old ToT house swap thing, where I used the Lively Scarecrow Plushies for carnies (though I do think it was mean to make one do the hamburger grilling near an open flame...) and one was doing "shaved ice" with various, ah, toppings... :-/

The Striped Cue Balls from the Casino set from the Marketplace (and regular Cue Balls, for "full flavor") are great for that!

But an urn that gives us Frostfell cubes would be a wonderful idea.

If it involves shaved ice and flavors, you can shave any cube you want.

If we are just shaving them they remain "alive" and able to still squidgy about. Its better than *sings* "cube chunks roasting on an open fire, Santa Glug nipping at our nose, Frostfell carols being sung by the fire, happy Frostfell…".

True; shaving usually doesn't cause any undue harm (though I'm not sure if a cube could be "patched up" by a mere dab of toilet paper), unless one is Sweeney Todd. ;->

YAY!!! Mirt has joined the cause. Don't know about you Mirt, but I can envision that Baubleshire house with an urn or something near the pond that dispenses ice cubes which can squidgy into the water and make it cooler, of course if they don't get out and just squidgy around in there the will "die by melting".

Nah, most cubes that Lera's so fond of are tougher than that; I doubt their surface tension will be affected too much by temperature changes, unless fire's involved. Iced-up cubes might be more sluggish, but it'll take a heck of a lot of cold to get them frozen completely. ;->

With that in mind...

during Frostfell it could dispense ice cubes, during Erollisi it could dispense cubes with little hearts in them, during Brewday it could dispense cubes with shamrocks in them, etc ……. Endless possibilities!!!!!

And cubes with li'l colored eggs, or cogs, or pumpkins/skulls, etc.
