I didn't think you could manipulate the portals using the in-game decorator's wheel at all? I'll have to try that again! But yeah, you really have to be careful when moving those silly things; one little hiccup somewhere and they think you're double-clicking on them. X-P Uwk been there, did that went there X-P
You can't manipulate the portals with the decorator wheel. Hehe. That's what I'm asking for. The ability to do so w/OUT porting to said house. =)
D'oh! Yeah, that makes more sense... ;-> Uwk who really, really doesn't want to have to move one on the laptop, the thing's so touchy... :-/
I would like to formally request black stained-glass tiles. I know that may be weird, but I have lots of uses for them and I know several folks that would utilize them as well. Also, with the prestige housing....Could y'all please make a Shard of Love prestige home???? PRETTY PLEASE!!!!
With the rolling hills before the main doors and a little, at least, of the interior? Yeah, that would be cool. Would be a pain trying to build from scratch on the rolling hills, but at least we could "pasture" our horses, deer, etc. herbivorous pets and mounts out there. ;-> And maybe fill in some of the li'l "valleys" with water features so they have something to drink from other than the decorative fountain... ;-> Uwk
I would love to have a waterfall but with blood. It seems to me it should be an easy color fix. Please? For reasons.
Ostensibly, there are lighting effects that could "dye" a Deepwater falls sort of thing a certain color, but yeah, it wouldn't be as -- effective, shall we say. ;-> You might want to put something like this on the Nights of the Dead holiday wishlist (or the Feedback thread for it on the Test Forum), if you haven't already; that's a perfect spot for it. Uwk
I'm late to the game but have just gotten a Snowy Retreat Island house thingy. I am shocked and dismayed to find the house chimney is not only right against a huge tree, but when it's active, ie, hot, the smoke billows into the tree branches. You'd think the devs who live in CA would know a little bit more about fire clearances. Luckily this is a fantasy game and I can just cast a spell and carve a ward into the door that keeps my house from exploding into flames!
Hmm! Excellent point; I know for a fact that Ca. chimneys require spark arresting sorts of things on/in them, generally some sort of screening so as not to encourage roof or nearby foliage fires here (perhaps that can be simulated with house items or building blocks?). And while it's true that the Snowy Dwelling is in the middle of the ocean (apparently; we're far enough away from any coastlines that you can't see landmasses from there, just ice and another occasional island here and there), it's also true that conifers, like the pine trees close to the house, are notorious for going up in flames if a match looks too hard at them (one of the issues with a lot of our wildfires). :-/ So, while it wouldn't spread too far to other locales, yeah, a house there would be susceptible. Hmm. :-/ Maybe put a blue glowing thing of some sort within that tree in the branches, to indicate it's been protected against flame? With perhaps a notice nearby about it to explain it? Uwk
Upping for tapestries : white, red and and blue for Frostfell and pink + purple for Erollisi? Green and brown for Brewday and so on (we really could have used black ones on notd) pretty pretty please with cherry and whipped cream on top? Since it's merely changing the color of an already existing item it shouldn't, hopefully, be something huge in term of workload for the art team? *Keeps fingers and toes crossed*
Something was missing up there? "white, red and >???< and blue for Frostfell" Green? And thanks for another vote for the Steam Peasant Tapestry! Uwk
I would LOVE to have a prestige home of the Shard of Love zone. I would buy one for all of my characters. Also, I know we have wardrobe space but it's not nearly enough. Either expand the wardrobe amount or give us armor depots like the house item depots! That would be amazeballs!!!!
Ostensibly, we do; the special sales crates for Armorers. Just don't offer any of it for sale. ;-> Uwk who frequently does that for house items during a decorating frenzy, then promptly forgets they're there and panic-scrambles around trying to find them... X-P
Super happy to see that they finally added curtains to the Frostfell collection, but was disappointed that they are not craftable. It was something I would have liked to have been able to make while decorating my guildhall over Thanksgiving. Thank you for what we got this year, though. I managed to get a few after running my two dozen alts through, and the snow flake one blends well over the front doors of the Qeynos large GH. Maybe next year, could we get craftable candy cane drapes, and maybe one of the gigglegibber wreath on the curtains that open or close when you click on it? Please? Also, thinking Heroes Festival could use sword and shield themed curtains in the blue/gold color scheme. That would work great in my weaponsmith's "Factory" of Blades prestige house.
I'm curious: why were blue and gold chosen as Heroes' Festival colors in the first place? Not that I'm not super fond of them, 'cause I am; California colors, too, which could be why (SOE/DBG has always been based in the Golden State, not far from the lovely blue Pacific Ocean ). And yeah, more craftable curtains would be ideal! I'm not having any trouble finding them in my Santa Glug inventories this year, but I might be a rare lucky one; thank goodness the individual curtains are tradable once they're out of the Heirloom set box. Uwk
Currently wishing for: 1) a building block set that is blue with maybe snowflakes or even stripes that isn't ice or glacial and 2) that my frostfell flame andiron would stay lit.
Drat; they're not doing that like what they did for the Trees? And yeah, I'd like just a regular set of building blocks that could just be plain, regular red (lighter in tone than the Red Marble); plain regular blue (the blue from the Frostfell Formal Place Setting placemat edge?); plain regular green (yes, we already have a green stucco from Brewday that could do double-duty, or maybe we could get a plain darker "pine" green for FF; the green from the Mossy Briarwood would work okay); a plain, regular silver that doesn't need Tinkerfest Cogs to make; etc. Or yeah, even take the designs from the old-fashioned Room Dividers and make those the next design! Uwk
Yesss, I'm using so many verdant stucco pieces in this Frostfell house and I wish so much that there was a nice, bright red. And basically all the colors, you know. =D
